29.08.2010 - Denim Air (3D/Amsterdam) has given up operations and has been declared bankrupt on February 18. It had operated ten Dash 8-300s, ten Fokker 50s and three Fokker 100s on charter flights and wet-lease contracts on behalf of other carriers. It has then again resumed operations with two Fokker 50s and a new company as Denim Air ACMI (3D/Amsterdam) later in spring. 29.08.2010 - FlyOristano (Oristano) has launched operations on June 3 from Oristano, an airport in Sardinia that has only recently been opened for commercial operations. The virtual carrier is owned by Sogeaor, the operator of Oristano-Fenosu airport. FlyOristano has wet-leased two Fokker 50s from Denim Air ACMI (3D/Amsterdam) and offers daily services from Oristano to both Pisa and Rome Fiumicino. It has also temporarily operated services from Brescia to Pisa, Rimini and Rome Fiumicino but has already given up these routes again. 24.01.2010 - Air Nostrum (YW/Valencia) has ended its wet-lease contract with Denim Air (3D/Amsterdam) and has returned all eight Dash 8-300s to the Dutch carrier. 24.01.2010 - Denim Air (3D/Amsterdam) has added a second ex-Yeongnam Air Fokker 100 to its fleet. 11.10.2009 - Denim Air (3D/Amsterdam) has wet-leased a Fokker 50 to Air Affaires Gabon (Libreville). It has added a first ex-Gir Jet Fokker 100 to its fleet. |
