20.12.2008 - Air Pullmantur (EB/Madrid Barajas) has added a third ex-Air India (AI/Mumbai) B747-400 to replace its last B747-300 that it has withdrawn from service earlier this month. It has wet-leased one of its B747-400s to Garuda Indonesia (GA/Jakarta Intl) for the Hajj season. 16.12.2008 - White (WHT/Lisbon) has wet-leased an A310-300 to Air India (AI/Mumbai). 21.09.2008 - Bilga Air (Birmingham) is planning to launch twice weekly scheduled charter service between Birmingham and Amritsar on October 9 using Monarch Airlines (ZB/London Luton) aircraft replacing Air India (AI/Mumbai) that will move its Amritsar-Birmingham-Toronto Pearson service to London Heathrow on October 25. 30.03.2008 - Martinair (MP/Amsterdam) will reportedly lease 10 A330-200s to replace its B767-300ER fleet. It has replaced its last B747-200F freighter by a fourth ex-Air India (AI/Mumbai) B747-400F. 19.11.2007 - XL Airways UK (JN/London Gatwick) has wet-leased a B767-200ER to Air India (AI/Mumbai) for Hajj charters as well as two B737-800s to Thai low-cost carrier Nok Air (DD/Bangkok). It has announced three new scheduled services from its Luton base: London Luton-Larnaca: 5x weekly B737-800 service starting on May 2 London Luton-Paphos: 3x weekly B737-800 service starting on May 24 London Luton-Sharm el Sheikh: 2x weekly B737-800 service starting on May 23 |
