11.10.2009 - Tailwind Airlines (Istanbul Ataturk) will add two more ex-Alaska Airlines (AS/Seattle/Tacoma) B737-400s and has wet-leased one of its B737-400 to Atlasjet Airlines (KK/Antalya).

20.06.2009 - Georgian Airways (A9/Tbilisi) has leased a first ex-Alaska Airlines (AS/Seattle/Tacoma) B737-700 and an ex-Cimber Sterling (QI/Sonderborg) CRJ-200. It has introduced new routes out of Batumi and Tbilisi:
Batumi-Kiev Borispol: 2x weekly CRJ-200 service has started on June 8
Tbilisi-Almaty-Beijing: 2x weekly B737 service starting on June 21
Tbilisi-Budapest: weekly CRJ-200 service starting on June 18
Tbilisi-Kharkov: 2x weekly CRJ-200 service has started on May 10
Tbilisi-Odessa: weekly CRJ-200 service has started on June 10
Tbilisi-Thessaloniki: weekly CRJ-200 service starting on June 21

20.06.2009 - Tailwind Airlines (Istanbul Ataturk) has leased a third ex-Alaska Airlines (AS/Seattle/Tacoma) B737-400.

25.02.2009 - Tailwind Airlines (Istanbul Ataturk) has finally taken delivery of two ex-Alaska Airlines (AS/Seattle/Tacoma) B737-400s to start charter operations.

20.12.2008 - Air European (Blackpool) is planning to start charter operations with four ex-Alaska Airlines (AS/Seattle/Tacoma) MD-83s in 2009.
