24.01.2010 - Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino) has transferred 21 of its 28 A320-200s and 2000 employees to Alitalia (AZ/Rome Fiumicino). It will continue to operate seven A320-200s and a fleet of three B737-300s and fourteen B737-400s on behalf of parent Alitalia.

24.01.2010 - Air One CityLiner (CT/Rome Fiumicino) will continue to operate a fleet of 10 CRJ-900s on behalf of Alitalia (AZ/Rome Fiumicino).

24.01.2010 - Alitalia (AZ/Rome Fiumicino) is again expanding its network and is planning to replace its remaining six B767-300ERs by four new A330-200s from the original Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino) order and two leased B777-200ERs over the course of the next two years:
Milan Linate-Crotone: daily CRJ-900 service has started on December 7 (operated by Air One CityLiner (CT/Rome Fiumicino))
Milan Malpensa-Miami: 3x weekly B767-300ER service starting on June 3
Rome Fiumicino-Crotone: 2x daily CRJ-900 service has started on December 7 (operated by Air One CityLiner)
Rome Fiumicino-Los Angeles: 5x weekly B777-200ER service resuming on June 5
Rome Fiumicino-Malaga: daily A320-200 service resuming on March 28
Rome Fiumicino-Vienna: 2x daily CRJ-900 service resuming on March 28 (operated by Air One CityLiner)
Alitalia will however give up its Milan Malpensa-Sao Paulo Guarulhos route on March 27 in favour of a frequency increase on the Rome Fiumicino-Sao Paulo Guarulhos route that will now be operated daily. It has replaced the ARJ-70 wet-leased from Transwede Airways (5T/Gothenburg Landvetter) by Cityjet (WX/Dublin) ARJ-85s on its twice daily Milan Linate-London City route now operated in codeshare with Air France (AF/Paris CDG). Alitalia and Baboo (F7/Geneva) have signed a bilateral codeshare agreement covering all flights operated between Geneva and Italy by the two carriers and the Baboo routes from Marseilles to Milan Malpensa and from Nice to Venice Marco Polo.

24.01.2010 - Borajet (BJ/Istanbul Ataturk) is a business charter operator based at Istanbul Ataturk airport that is planning to start scheduled domestic services later this year become the first scheduled carrier in Turkey operating turboprops. It has leased three ex-Alitalia Express (XM/Rome Fiumicino) ATR 72-500s and plans to operate new routes not currently served by the other domestic carriers in Turkey. It has announced plans to link Istanbul Ataturk with Bursa and Zonguldak and is also considering basing aircraft in Ankara and Antalya as well as international routes to Greece, Israel and Syria.

24.01.2010 - Dniproavia (Z6/Dnepropetrovsk) has acquired another 14 ex-Alitalia Express (XM/Rome Fiumicino) ERJ-145s that it will add to its fleet or lease out to other carriers.
