09.02.2008 - Cirrus Airlines (C9/Saarbrücken) will retire its B737-500 by the end of March and replace it with an ex-Air Caraïbes (TX/Pointe à Pitre) EMB-175. It has also added two ex-City Star Airlines (X9/Aberdeen) Do328-110s. 09.02.2008 - City Star Airlines (X9/Aberdeen) has ceased operations on January 30 citing financial difficulties. It had operated four Do328-110s on regional services between Aberdeen and Norway. 28.09.2007 - City Star Airlines (X9/Aberdeen) has added a fourth ex-PSA Airlines (JIA/Dayton) Do328-110 to its fleet. It has announced plans to launch a new route from Aberdeen to Houston Intcl in January using a B757-200 in an all Business Class configuration. 29.07.2007 - City Star Airlines (X9/Aberdeen) will launch twice weekdaily service from Aberdeen via Stavanger to Aalesund on August 20. It has given up its Stavanger-Groningen route. 11.05.2007 - City Star Airlines (X9/Aberdeen) will launch five times weekly Do328-110 service from Aberdeen to Bergen on May 29. |
