07.02.2008 - LOT Polish Airlines (LO/Warsaw) has placed an additional order with Embraer for 12 more EMB-175s. It is planning to retire its two B767-200ERs at the end of the summer timetable 2008 and has temporarily wet-leased a B767-300ER to Air Seychelles (HM/Mahe). LOT has started codesharing on Centralwings (C0/Warsaw) services from Warsaw to Dublin and Manchester and between Krakow and Manchester. It will however give up its daily Warsaw-Venice Marco Polo service on March 28. The Polish government is planning to sell its 68% majority stake in both carriers.
