29.08.2010 - Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) has leased a B737-700 from Enerjet (EG/Calgary) and will launch new services with its fleet of B737-700s and B737-800s:
Eindhoven-Innsbruck: 5x weekly seasonal service starting on December 16
Eindhoven-Salzburg; weekly seasonal service starting on December 18
Girona-Rotterdam: 3x weekly seasonal service until October 30 (was supposed to be cancelled but has been operated because of poor advance sales for the La Rochelle route that was cut instead)
Transavia will however not resume seasonal services from Berlin Tegel, Brussels Ntl and Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel to Innsbruck and from Brussels Ntl to Salzburg this winter season. Transavia will also give up its Rotterdam-London Gatwick route on October 31 and has also not launched its previously announced Rotterdam-La Rochelle seasonal summer route.

24.01.2010 - Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) is launching new routes this summer:
Amsterdam-Biarritz: 3x weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on April 26 (replacing route to Pau)
Amsterdam-Girona: daily seasonal B737-700 service starting on April 17 (replacing route from Rotterdam)
Amsterdam-Innsbruck: 2x weekly B737-700 service (becoming a year round route)
Amsterdam-Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen: 4x weekly B737-700 service starting on April 1
Amsterdam-Toulon: 4x weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on April 2 (replacing route from Rotterdam)
Eindhoven-Innsbruck: weekly seasonal B737-700 service (already launched)
Rotterdam-Barcelona: daily B737-700 service starting on April 2
Rotterdam-Bergerac: 3x weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on April 7 (replacing route from Amsterdam)
Rotterdam-La Rochelle: 3x weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on April 17

11.10.2009 - Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) will move its twice daily Rotterdam-London Luton service to Gatwick from November 2.

20.06.2009 - Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) has launched more new routes from Copenhagen this spring and is planning to transfer a B737-700 and two B737-800s to a new subsidiary in Denmark later this year branded as Transavia Denmark (PH/Copenhagen Kastrup):
Amsterdam-Almeria: weekly seasonal B737-800 service (already launched)
Amsterdam-Bergerac: 3x weekly B737-700/-800 has resumed on May 6
Amsterdam-Djerba: weekly seasonal B737-800 service has started on May 19
Amsterdam-Jerez de la Frontera: weekly seasonal B737-800 service has started on June 12
Amsterdam-Kos: 3x weekly seasonal B737-800 service has started on April 26
Amsterdam-Preveza-Kefalonia-Amsterdam: weekly seasonal B737-800 service (already launched)
Amsterdam-Volos-Kefalonia-Amsterdam: weekly seasonal B737-800 service (already launched)
Billund-Las Palmas: weekly B737-800 service starting on November 7
Copenhagen-Alghero: weekly seasonal B737-700 starting on June 23
Copenhagen-Athens: 2x weekly B737-700 service has started on May 22
Copenhagen-Chania: 2x weekly B737-700 service
Copenhagen-Palma de Mallorca: 2x weekly B737-700 service
It has however given up its Copenhagen-Alicante route in mid-April, will terminate its Amsterdam-Monastir route on July 4 and no longer serve Dubrovnik, Menorca, Pula and Zadar from Amsterdam and Girona and Granada from Paris Orly this summer season. Transavia Airlines has temporarily leased two B737-800s from GOL Transportes Aéreos until the end of October and will also lease another B737-800 from its parent KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL/Amsterdam).

25.02.2009 - Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) and Martinair (MP/Amsterdam) will be merged into a single company later this year after KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL/Amsterdam) has taken full control of Martinair. The two carriers will continue to operate using separate brands and distribution channels. Transavia will increase its presence in Copenhagen with additional new routes:
Copenhagen Kastrup-Montpellier: 2x weekly B737-700 service starting on May 21
Copenhagen Kastrup-Naples: 3x weekly B737-700 service starting on April 21
Copenhagen Kastrup-Pisa: 3x weekly B737-700 service starting on May 21
Paris Orly-Olbia: weekly seasonal B737-800 service starting on April 12
