Air Berlin has signed a codeshare agreement with Bangkok Airways (PG/Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) allowing its passengers to connect via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Chiang Mai, Ko Samui and Phuket. It has however not launched its previously announced winter only service between Nuremberg and Cairo and stopped plans for a new Stuttgart-Porto route in 2010. Air Berlin has also given up its Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel-Helsinki route on January 3 and will terminate its Cologne/Bonn-Graz and Stuttgart-Cagliari routes by the end of March and its Hanover-Stockholm Arlanda services on April 30.

24.01.2010 - Turkuaz Airlines (TRK/Istanbul Ataturk) is reportedly considering launching scheduled services later this year. It has added two ex-Air Jamaica (JM/Kingston Norman Manley) aircraft to its fleet, its third A320-200 and its third A321-200.

20.06.2009 - Turkuaz Airlines (TRK/Istanbul Ataturk) has leased two ex-Air Jamaica (JM/Kingston Norman Manley) A321-200s.

09.02.2008 - Turkish Airlines (TK/Istanbul Ataturk) has announced plans to lease two more ex-Air Jamaica (JM/Kingston Norman Manley) A340-300s and two additional A330-200s to expand its longhaul network. It is planning to add Aleppo, Alexandria, Atyrau, Birmingham, Lahore, Lvov, Oran, Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Toronto Pearson, Ufa and Washington Dulles to its network later this year.

08.12.2007 - Virgin Atlantic (VS/London Heathrow) has entered into a codeshare agreement with Air Jamaica (JM/Kingston Norman Manley) to provide its passengers connections between Montego Bay and Kingston. It will temporarily move its daily B747-400 service between London and Bridgetown from Gatwick to Heathrow between December 11 and March 17.
