11.10.2009 - Turkish Airlines (TK/Istanbul Ataturk) has finalized its Airbus order and has now chosen to order seven A330-300s instead of a mix of A330-200s and A330-300s as previously announced. Deliveries will start in September 2010. It will increase its international flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen offering point to point connections from the airport in addition to its hub operations at Istanbul Ataturk:
Ankara-Izmir: daily A320-200 serviced has resumed on September 29 (in addition to up to four daily flights by its low-cost carrier AnadoluJet (TK/Ankara))
Antalya-Dusseldorf Intl: 2x weekly B737-800 service has started on October 3
Antalya-Paris CDG: 2x weekly A320-200 service has started on October 2
Antalya-Stockholm Arlanda: weekly B737-800 service starting on October 3
Istanbul Ataturk-Isparta: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on October 28
Istanbul Ataturk-Lviv: 3x weekly B737-800 service has started on July 27
Istanbul Ataturk-Singapore Changi-Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Intl: 5x weekly A330-200/A340-300 service has started on August 30 (extension of Singapore Changi route)
Istanbul Ataturk-Toronto Pearson: 3x weekly A330-200 service has started on July 11

It has also announced plans to add Isparta in Turkey to its growing domestic network. THY has added an ex-easyJet (U2/London Luton) A321-200 and is again operating three B737-400s that were previously operated by AnadoluJet. It has signed bilateral codeshare agreements with its subsidiary B&H Airlines (JA/Sarajevo) and with Asiana Airlines (OZ/Seoul Incheon) and Etihad Airways (EY/Abu Dhabi) for the Istanbul Ataturk-Sarajevo and Istanbul Ataturk-Abu Dhabi routes served by both carriers. Its partnership with Asiana will include connections from Seoul Incheon to other destinations in China, Japan and South Korea. THY now also put its TK code on Malaysian Airlines (MH/Kuala Lumpur Intl) services on the Istanbul Ataturk-Dubai-Kuala Lumpur Intl route.

20.06.2009 - Air Atlanta Icelandic (CC/Reykjavik Keflavik) has wet-leased a third B747-200F freighter and a second ex-Asiana Airlines (OZ/Seoul Incheon) B747-400F freighter to Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV/Jeddah).

20.06.2009 - Sky Airlines (SHY/Antalya) has leased a second ex-Asiana Airlines (OZ/Seoul Incheon) A321-200 and a sixth ex-CSA Czech Airlines (OK/Prague) B737-400. It has also taken delivery of its first new B737-900.

02.04.2006 - Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino) has leased an ex-Air Sahara (S2/Delhi) B737-300 and an ex-Asiana Airlines (OZ/Seoul Incheon) B737-400.

02.04.2006 - Freebird Airlines (3F/Istanbul Ataturk) has leased two ex-Asiana Airlines (OZ/Seoul Incheon) A321-200s.
