29.08.2010 - SATA International (S4/Lisbon) has expanded its regional network following the complete replacement of the BAe ATP fleet at subsidiary SATA Air Acores (SP/Ponta Delgada) by two Dash 8-200s and four Dash 8-400s: Ponta Delgada-Funchal-Faro: 2x weekly seasonal Dash 8-400 service until September 13 Ponta Delgada-Funchal-Las Palmas: 2x weekly Dash 8-400 service (already launched, extension of previous Funchal-Las Palmas route) 11.10.2009 - SATA International (S4/Lisbon) has announced two new routes to Scandinavia: Funchal-Copenhagen: weekly seasonal A320-200 service starting on December 21 Funchal-Stockholm Arlanda: weekly seasonal A320-200 service (already launched) Ponta Delgada-Oslo Gardermoen: weekly seasonal A320-200 service starting on April 29 11.10.2009 - TAP Portugal (TP/Lisbon) has added several new routes: Lisbon-Algiers: 3x weekly ERJ-145 service starting on November 26 operated by PGA Portugalia Airlines (NI/Lisbon) Lisbon-Milan Linate: 4x weekly A319-100/A320-200 service has started on September 28 (in addition to twice daily Malpensa flights) Lisbon-Valencia: 2x daily Beech 1900 service resuming on October 25 operated by Omni (OC/Cascais-Tires) It has also started codesharing on SATA International (S4/Lisbon) services on the Lisbon-Ponta Delgada-Boston route. 20.06.2009 - SATA International (S4/Lisbon) has given up plans for a seasonal Ponta Delgada-Funchal-Dublin service this summer. 25.02.2009 - SATA International (S4/Lisbon) will launch weekly seasonal A320-200 service from Ponta Delgada via Funchal to Dublin on June 4 replacing the non-stop services operated in previous years. |
