11.10.2009 - Aegean Airlines (A3/Athens) has wet-leased two ATR 72-500s from Swiftair (W3/Madrid) and has announced new routes for the winter season: Athens-London Heathrow: 2x daily A321-200 service starting on October 25 (replacing Stansted service) Athens-Madrid: daily A320-200 service starting on December 1 Athens-Vienna: 5x weekly A320-200 service starting on December 10 Thessaloniki-Milan Malpensa: 3x weekly ARJ-100 service starting on October 26 20.06.2009 - Binter Canarias (NT/Las Palmas) and Swiftair (W3/Madrid) have set-up a cargo joint venture branded as BinterSwift that will sell cargo capacity on Binter Canaris interisland services and Swiftair B737-300F cargo services between Madrid and the Canary Islands. 20.06.2009 - Swiftair (7J/Madrid Barajas) has added a sixth ex-Kitty Hawk Air Cargo B737-300F freighter. 25.02.2009 - Agroar Carga Aérea (GRR/Evora) has wet-leased a B737-300F freighter from Swiftair (SWT/Madrid) to replace the aircraft it had previously wet-leased from now defunct carrier flyAnt. 20.12.2008 - Swiftair (7J/Madrid Barajas) has wet-leased a MD-83 to Sudan Airways (SD/Khartoum). |
