It has also put its UX code on the daily Aeromexico (AM/Mexico City) B777-200ER service linking Madrid and Mexico City. Its subsidiary Air Dominicana (ED/Santo Domingo Las Americas) will finally start operations with a single B737-400 on August 1 and operate daily services from Santo Domingo Las Americas to Miami and New York JFK. Air Europa will codeshare on both routes. It has however cut its codeshare agreement with Continental Airlines (CO/Houston Intcl) as of June 1. In other news, Air Europa has also given up plans for a weekly Tenerife Norte-Caracas service. 20.06.2009 - SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK/Copenhagen Kastrup) has ordered two additional CRJ-900s and added two ex-Air Europa (UX/Palma de Mallorca) B737-800s to its fleet allowing it to accelerate the retirement of its MD-80 fleet.
