29.08.2010 - XL Airways Germany (G1/Frankfurt International) has added a fifth ex-Miami Air International (LL/Miami Intl) B737-800. 24.01.2010 - XL Airways Germany (G1/Frankfurt International) will base one of its B737-800 at Dusseldorf Weeze airport from April and operate charter services on behalf Dutch tour operator Sundio Group to a variety of destinations in Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey. It has wet-leased a B737-800 to Air Namibia (SW/Windhoek Intl). 20.06.2009 - XL Airways Germany (G1/Frankfurt International) has again wet-leased a B737-800 to Jet4You (8J/Casablanca). 20.12.2008 - XL Airways Germany (G1/Frankfurt International) has leased a B737-800 to Sunwing Airlines (WG/Toronto Pearson) for the winter season. 20.09.2008 - XL Airways UK (JN/London Gatwick) has filed for bankruptcy on September 12 and has suspended all operations when the entire XL Leisure Group collapsed. It had operated scheduled and charter services, mainly to destinations in Southern Europe and the Caribbean. Its sister carriers XL Airways France (SE/Paris CDG) and XL Airways Germany (G1/Frankfurt Intl) continue to operate as usual. |
