World Focus Airlines (VVF/Istanbul Ataturk) has wet-leased a MD-83 to Eritrean Airlines (B8/Asmara) replacing an Atlasjet Airlines (KK/Antalya) B757-200.

Livingston Energy Flight (LM/Milan Malpensa) has announced several new scheduled services:
Milan Malpensa-Natal: 2x weekly A330-200 service starting on December 20
Milan Malpensa-Phuket: weekly A330-200 service starting on December 27
Milan Malpensa-Porto Seguro-Rio de Janeiro Intl: weekly A330-200 service starting on December 21
Milan Malpensa-Punta Cana-Montego Bay: weekly A330-200 service has started on October 28
Rome Fiumicino-Milan Malpensa-Maceio: weekly A330-200 service starting on January 8
Wizz Air (W6/Budapest) has announced an expansion of its Sofia base for 2008:
Sofia-Barcelona: 2x weekly A320-200 service starting on July 12
Sofia-Izmir: weekly A320-200 service starting on June 14
Sofia-Milan Orio al Serio: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on July 14
Sofia-Valencia: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on July 12
Sofia-Varna: 4x weekly A320-200 service starting on July 13
Warsaw-Doncaster/Sheffield: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on April 1
British Airways (BA/London Heathrow) and Texas Pacific Group have withdrawn their joint bid for Iberia (IB/Madrid).
Rossiya (FV/St. Petersburg) will reportedly be rebranded in 2008 and only continue to use the Rossiya name for government flights. It is planning to acquire four Tu-334-100s for VIP operations on behalf of the Russian government.
Vueling Airlines (VY/Barcelona) has cancelled 9 A320-200 deliveries for 2008 and has deferred delivery of six more aicraft to 2009 as part of a restructuring plan. It has given up its Alicante-Amsterdam route at the end of the summer timetable and has also not launched its previously announced new Seville-Lisbon services. Vueling will also give up its Paris CDG-Milan Malpensa route on January 6.
Jet Air (Poland) (O2/Warsaw) has launched own scheduled operations on October 30:
Bydgoszcz-Berlin Tempelhof: 2x weekly Jetstream 32 service starting on January 10
Bydgoszcz-Copenhagen: 2x weekly Jetstream 32 service starting on January 7
Bydgoszcz-Katowice: 2x weekly Jetstream 32 service starting on January 8
Warsaw-Zielona Gora: 6x weekly Jetstream 32 service (already launched)
Air Comet (A7/Madrid Barajas) parent Grupo Marsans is planning to finalize an order with Airbus for four A380-800s, 10 A350-900s, five additional A330-200s, five A321-200s, 25 A320-200s and 12 A319-100s for its subsidiaries Aerolineas Argentinas (AR/Buenos Aires Ezeiza), Air Comet, Air Comet Chile (3U/Santiago de Chile) and Austral (AU/Buenos Aires Aeroparque).
Air Malta (KM/Malta) will launch twice weekly A319-100 service from Malta to Leipzig/Halle on May 7. It has given up its Malta-Oslo Gardermoen route at the end of the summer timetable 2007.
Condor (DE/Frankfurt International) has announced several new services for the upcoming summer season:
Berlin Schoenefeld-Kerkyra: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 3
Berlin Schoenefeld-Kos: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 7
Dusseldorf-Marrakech: weekly B757-300 service between May 6 and June 17 as well as September 16 and October 21
Dusseldorf-Tangier: weekly B757-300 service between June 24 and September 9
Frankfurt Intl-Djerba: weekly B757-300 service starting on May 5
Frankfurt Intl-Kerkyra: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 10
Frankfurt Intl-Marrakech: weekly B757-300 service between May 6 and June 17 as well as September 16 and October 21
Frankfurt Intl-Recife: weekly B767-300ER service starting on May 5
Frankfurt Intl-Samos: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 13
Frankfurt Intl-Tangier: weekly B757-300 service between June 24 and September 9
Hamburg-Rhodes: weekly B757-300 service starting on May 8
Hanover-Larnaca: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 5
Munich-Kerkyra: weekly A320-200 service starting on May 10

Condor will however terminate its Frankfurt Intl-Orlando route on April 25 and give up all of its services from Muenster/Osnabrueck and Nuremberg by the end of the winter timetable. It has already given up its Munich-Madrid route in November.
Transavia Airlines (HV/Amsterdam) has ordered an additional seven B737-800s. It has wet-leased two B737-800s to Aloha Airlines (AQ/Honolulu) and Comair (South Africa) (MN/Johannesburg Intl).
Air Baltic (BT/Riga) will lease two ex-Iberia (IB/Madrid) B757-200s and three ex-dba (DI/Munich) B737-300s in spring. It will launch three times weekly B737-500 service from Vilnius to Paris CDG on March 31.
FlyWhoosh (W2/Dundee) has suspended its services from Dundee to Belfast City and Birmingham on December 6. White Eagle Aviation (W2/Warsaw), the operator of the ATR 42-300 used on the route, and FlyWhoosh both blame each other for the suspension of services that FlyWhoosh is planning to resume later this month with another aircraft.
Austrian Airlines (OS/Vienna) has announced another network expansion:
Innsbruck-Kiev Borispol: weekly seasonal A321 service starting on December 29
Innsbruck-St. Petersburg: weekly seasonal Fokker 100 service starting on December 29
Vienna-Florence: daily non-stop Dash 8-300 service has started on December 1 (replacing one-stop via Bologna)
It will also add new routes from Vienna to Adler/Sochi, Baia Mare, Jeddah, Mostar, Nizhniy Novgorod, Riyadh and Wroclaw and resume its Vienna-Erbil route in summer 2008. Austrian has already given up its Vienna-Turin route and will cut its Klagenfurt-Frankfurt route on March 29.
Air Express Sweden (AEQ/Stockholm Arlanda) has added another ex-Aravco Fokker 100 and will lease a third aircraft of the same type in 2008. All Fokker 100s are operated on behalf of Skyways Express (JZ/Stockholm Arlanda).
Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino) has given up its routes from Rome Fiumicino to Albenga and London City by the end of October. It has ended its codeshare agreement with Spanair (JK/Palma de Mallorca) after giving up its Turin-Barcelona route.
Virgin Atlantic (VS/London Heathrow) has entered into a codeshare agreement with Air Jamaica (JM/Kingston Norman Manley) to provide its passengers connections between Montego Bay and Kingston. It will temporarily move its daily B747-400 service between London and Bridgetown from Gatwick to Heathrow between December 11 and March 17.
Silverjet (Y7/London Luton) will lease a fifth ex-Thomsonfly (BY/London Luton) B767-200ER in 2008.
Armavia (U8/Yerevan) has added an ex-National Air Services (XY/Jeddah) A319-100(CJ) that will be operated on behalf of the Armenian government.
Blue Wings (QW/Dusseldorf International) will lease two additional ex-jetBlue Airways (B6/New York JFK) A320-200s.
