Fly540 (5H, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International (NBO)) will lease a first ex-Satena (9R, Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)) EMB-170 (c/n 17000004) that is currently being prepared for the Kenyan low-cost carrier at Nashville International (BNA). It has however retired its last ATR 42-300 5Y-BUN (c/n 205). Sister carrier Fly540 Angola (F5, Luanda 4 De Fevereiro (LAD)) had already retired its ATR 42-300 D2-FLA (c/n 240) last month.

Satena (9R, Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)) has put its first ATR 72-500 into service and is mainly using it on the Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)-Medellín Olaya Herrera (EOH) route where it competes with Avianca Colombia (AV, Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)), Copa Airlines (CM, Panamá City Tocumen International (PTY)) and LAN Airlines (LA, Santiago de Chile Arturo Merino Benítez International (SCL)) serving Medellín José Maria Córdova International (MDE) with A320 and B737NG aircraft at a much higher frequency.

Satena (9R, Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)) is adding a first ex-China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN)) ATR 72-500 to its fleet. It already operates three ATR 42-500s and is also just adding a fourth ex-Halcyon-Air (7Z, Praia Nelson Mandela International (RAI)) ATR 42-500.
