07NOV2012: Copenhagen first international destination for Flyglinjen
Flyglinjen (Jönköping (JKG)) has announced plans to launch its third route from its homebase at Jönköping to Copenhagen Kastrup (CPH). This will be the first international route served by the virtual carrier that uses aircraft chartered from other carriers including a Fokker 50 from Minoan Air (MAV, Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis (HER)), a Saab 340A from Skytaxi (TE, Wroclaw Copernicus (WRO)) and a Jetstream 32 from Avies (U3, Tallinn Ülemiste (TLL)). For the twice weekdaily service to Copenhagen Flyglinjen will use a Jetstream 32 from AIS Airlines (Netherlands) (IS, Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)).

28SEP2012: Flyglinjen to upgrade Arlanda-Kristianstad to Fokker 50 from October
Flyglinjen (Jönköping (JKG)) will wet-lease a Fokker 50 from Greek charter carrier Minoan Air (MAV, Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis (HER)) from October 22 for its route from Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) to Kristianstad (KID). It currently uses Saab 340A SP-MRC (MSN 340A-143) wet-leased from Skytaxi (TE, Wroclaw Copernicus (WRO)) on the route and will move the aircraft to Jönköping (JKG) for its route from there to Stockholm Bromma (BMA) currently operated with a Jetstream 32 from Avies (U3, Tallinn Ülemiste (TLL)).

22SEP2012: AIS Airlines operates Jetstream 32 in Sweden for Flyglinjen
AIS Airlines (Netherlands) (IS, Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)) has wet-leased one of its two Jetstream 32s to Flyglinjen (Jönköping (JKG)) in Sweden to operate two weekdaily roundtrips between Jönköping (JKG) and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN). Flyglinjen is a virtual airline without an own air operator certificate also using another Jetstream 32 operated by Avies (U3, Tallinn Ülemiste (TLL)) and a Saab 340A operated by Skytaxi (TE, Wroclaw Copernicus (WRO)) for domestic services in Sweden.

27JUL2012: Flyglinjen to take over vacant Skyways route to Kristianstad with Saab 340
Flyglinjen (Jönköping (JKG)) will resume scheduled services to Kristianstad (KID) from August 20 using a Saab 340A wet-leased from Polish carrier Skytaxi (TE, Wroclaw Copernicus (WRO)). It will operate from Kristianstad to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) up to three times daily, the airport had lost its only air service when Skyways (JZ, Stockholm Arlanda (ARN)) went bankrupt in May. Flyglinjen had previously announced plans to use the Saab 340 on its new route from its base at Jönköping (JKG) to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) but will now serve both Stockholm Bromma (BMA) and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) from there with Avies (U3, Tallinn Ülemiste (TLL)) Jetstream 32s.

Flyglinjen (Jönköping (JKG)) plans to start using a Saab 340 for its route from Jönköping (JKG) to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) from August 20. It currently uses a Jetstream 32 operated by Avies (U3, Tallinn Ülemiste (TLL)) on the route. It is not known yet who will operate the Saab 340 on its behalf.
