Comtel Air (COE, Vienna International (VIE)) has started scheduled services on October 1 when the former business jet operator started a wet-lease contract with Mint Airways (IM/Madrid Barajas) to operate flights from Birmingham, London Stansted and Milan Orio al Serio via Vienna to Amritsar. It has been forced to suspend all operations in November following some very public cases of non-payment of fees at all airports in at least one case involving passengers paying for landing fees and fuel themselves in cash.
