    Carpatair (V3, Timisoara) has moved to retire its last B737-300 for its fleet. Reports state that YR-ADB (c/n 2946) has been ferried from Norwich to Timisoara after having been repainted into the livery of its new operator, Belarus carrier, Belavia (B2, Minsk Int'l 2). The Romanian carrier is now left with a fleet of three Fokker 100s and four Saab 2000s.

    Vueling Airlines (VY, Barcelona El Prat) is set to become the first Low Cost Carrier to start flights to Belarus when its launches a once weekly Barcelona El Prat to Minsk Int'l 2 service for the duration of summer (June 15 to September 15). In late 2012, lamenting the fact that no LCCs had expressed any interest in serving the Eastern European state, Belorussian authorities announced that Belavia (B2, Minsk Int'l 2) would proceed with plans to develop its own "LCC/hybrid airline", though as of April 2013, nothing tangible has yet been seen.

    Belavia (B2, Minsk Int'l 2) has taken delivery of first EMB-175 EW-340PO (c/n 17000350) on September 14. It has a second EMB-175 on order and leases both aircraft from US aircraft lessor Air Lease Corporation. It plans to first use the aircraft between Minsk Intl 2 and Paris CDG.
