MHS Aviation (Germany) (MHV, Munich) has announced the resumption of scheduled services between Mannheim and Berlin Tegel from January 21, 2013 onwards. The route was left unserved for more than a year after the bankruptcy of Cirrus Airlines (C9, Saarbrücken) in January 2012. MHS is owned by German aviation entrepreneur Gerd Brandecker who also previously owned Cirrus Airlines. It will serve the route twice weekdaily with its fleet of Do328-100s.

California Pacific Airlines (Carlsbad, CA) is about to get its first ex-Cirrus Airlines (C9, Saarbrücken) EMB-170 N760CP (c/n 17000006) currently being prepared at Kansas City Int'l for the start-up planning regional services out of Carlsbad, CA later this year.

Advance Air (Frankfurt Int'l) plans to operate three weekly scheduled Cessna Citation services between Münster/Osnabrück and Stuttgart Echterdingen from May 28 taking over a route previously served by Cirrus Airlines (C9, Saarbrücken).

OLT Express Germany (OL, Bremen Neuenland) has given up plans to acquire assets and to take over staff of bankrupt regional carrier Cirrus Airlines (C9, Saarbrücken).

OLT Express Germany (OL, Bremen Neuenland) has reached an agreement with the administrators of insolvent Cirrus Airlines (C9, Saarbrücken) to take over the company for an undisclosed sum. OLT plans to base three 100 seat aircraft, possibly EMB-190s, at Saarbrücken and take over 100 Cirrus employees marketing, sales and distribution department as well as the technical services and tour operating divisions of Cirrus. Brussels National, Copenhagen Kastrup, Vienna and Zurich have been mentioned as possible destinations from Saarbrücken.
