25MAR2013: Centurion Air Cargo wet-leases Cargolux B747-400 freighter
Centurion Air Cargo (WE, Miami Int'l) has wet-leased B747-400(F) LX-TCV (MSN 30401) from Cargolux (CV, Luxembourg) to complement its fleet of four MD-11(F) freighters. Centurion sister carrier SkyLease Cargo (GG, Greensboro) also currently operates six MD-11(F)s but Centurion is planning to eventually operate up to ten B747-400(F) freighters. It mainly concentrates on cargo routes from Amsterdam and Miami Int'l to Latin America.

07MAR2013: US cargo operator Centurion to add first B757-200 freighter
Centurion Air Cargo (WE, Miami Int'l) will add a first ex-American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) B757-200(F) freighter to be registered N567CA (MSN 24608) according to AeroTransport. Centurion currently operates four MD-11(F)s on scheduled cargo services from Miami Int'l and Amsterdam to Latin America. It had previously operated B757-200 freighters in the 1990s when it still traded as Challenge Air Cargo (WE, Miami Int'l).

27JUL2012: Venezuelan cargo carrier Solar Cargo to introduce DC-10-30 freighters
Solar Cargo (4S, Valencia Arturo Michelena Int'l) is planning to replace its fleet of two An-26 freighters by two ex-Centurion Air Cargo (WE, Miami Int'l) and ex-Cielos Airlines (A2, Lima) DC-10-30(F) freighters (MSNs 47840 and 47888) later this year. Solar currently offers cargo services from Caracas Simón Bolivar and Valencia to Miami Int'l.
