02MAR2013: Sukhoi delivers first SSJ 100-95 to Indonesia's Sky Aviation
Sky Aviation (SYA, Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma International (HLP)) has taken delivery of its first SSJ 100-95 PK-ECL (MSN 95022) making it the second operator of the type outside the CIS region after Lao Central Airlines (LF, Vientiane Wattay International (VTE)). Sky Aviation has a total of twelve SSJ 100-95s on order and plans to use the aircraft to significantly expand its domestic network in Indonesia where it currently operates five Fokker 50s and a B737-300. It had previously announced plans to mainly use the SSJs to expand in the East of Indonesia.

17FEB2013: First Superjet delivered to Lao Central Airlines
Lao Central Airlines (LF, Vientiane Wattay International (VTE)) has taken delivery of its first of three SSJ 100-95s RDPL-34195 (MSN 95026) on February 15. It is the first operator of the type to take delivery outside the CIS region that takes delivery of a Superjet regional aircraft. Lao Central already operates two B737-400s.

14JAN2013: Lao Central plans regional expansion with Superjets
Lao Central Airlines (LF, Vientiane Wattay International (VTE)) will shortly take delivery of its first of three SSJ 100-95s on order that will be registered RDPL-34195 (MSN 95026). The Superjets will complement Lao Central's two B737-400s currently used on routes from Vientiane to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International (BKK) and Luang Prabang International (LPQ) and Lao Central plans to open new routes to Hanoi Noibai International (HAN), Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International (SGN) and Singapore Changi International (SIN) with the aircraft.

Lao Central Airlines (LF, Vientiane Wattay International (VTE)) has launched charter operations with its first ex-Jetairfly (TB, Brussels National Zaventem (BRU)) B737-400 on January 3. It is planning to launch scheduled services from Vientiane Wattay International (VTE) to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International (BKK) later this spring when it will also add a second ex-Blue Air (Romania) (0B, Bucharest Otopeni Henri Coanda International (OTP)) B737-400.
