17JAN2013: TUI Travel considering orders for 60 narrowbodies
Thomson Airways (BY, London Luton (LTN)) parent TUI Travel, that also controls leisure carriers Arke Fly (OR, Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)), Corsair International (SS, Paris Orly (ORY)), Jetairfly (TB, Brussels National Zaventem (BRU)), TUIfly (Germany) (X3, Hanover (HAJ)) and TUIfly Nordic (6B, Stockholm Arlanda (ARN)), has started evaluating proposals from both Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac (TLS)) and Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare International (ORD)) for the B737 MAX and A320neo aircraft with a view of potentially ordering up to 60 narrowbody aircraft from one of the suppliers according to a report by Reuters. The aircraft would then be delivered to several of its subsidiaries similar to previous TUI Travel orders for B737-800s and B787-8s.

21DEC2012: Aigle Azur and Corsair to cooperate to offer Orly connections
Aigle Azur (ZI, Paris Orly (ORY)) and Corsair International (SS, Paris Orly (ORY)) have agreed to a cooperation agreement that will allow the two Orly based carriers to offer their passengers connections between the two completely independent networks. Aigle Azur currently concentrates on routes from Orly to Algeria, Portugal, Russia and Tunisia while Corsair International operates to long-haul destinations in Africa, Canada and the Caribbean. Aigle Azur plans to launch its first long-haul services to China in cooperation with its Chinese investor Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou Meilan International (HAK)) next year.

22OCT2012: Corsair International to initially operate A330-300s to Guadeloupe
Corsair International (SS, Paris Orly (ORY)) will take delivery of its two A330-300s on order in October and November. It initially plans to operate the aircraft on a daily service between Paris Orly and Pointe à Pitre Le Raizet (PTP) with the aircraft also scheduled to still make appearances on routes to Dakar Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senghor International (DKR), Fort de France Martinique Aimé Césaire International (FDF) and St. Denis de la Réunion Roland Garros (RUN) this year. Corsair plans to also use the aircraft to Antananarivo Ivato International (TNR), Dzaoudzi Pamandzi (DZA) and Montréal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International (YUL) in 2013. The first rotation currently scheduled to be operated by one of the A330-300s is from Orly to St. Denis on November 27 (subject to change).
