Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo International (SVO)) has added an ex-Continental Airways (PC/Moscow Sheremetyevo) Tu-154M to its fleet and is planning to merge the government controlled carriers Dalavia (H8/Khabarovsk) and Vladivostok Air (XF/Vladivostok) into a new subsidiary to be named Aeroflot-East. It is also reportedly interested in taking a minority stake in alliance partner Alitalia (AZ/Rome Fiumicino). It will launch three times weekly Tu-154M service from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Hanover on September 5. Aeroflot has extended its codeshare agreement with CSA Czech Airlines (OK/Prague) to include connections through the two carriers' hubs at Moscow Sheremetyevo and Prague.
