Enter Air (OF, Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin (WAW)) will base either a B737-400 or B737-800 at Rostock Laage (RLG) this summer season to operate charter services on behalf of German broker Air Service Erfurt. It will operate flights from Rostock and Kassel Calden (KSF) to Fuerteventura El Matorral (FUE), Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI) and Tenerife Sur (TFS) as well as from Erfurt-Weimar Bindersleben (ERF) to Palma that ASE organizes in cooperation with German tour operators. Enter Air replaces bankrupt XL Airways Germany (X4, Frankfurt International (FRA)) which had been scheduled to operate these flights. Air Service Erfurt has announced that its charter flights from various German airports to Antalya (AYT) will be operated by Tailwind Airlines (TI, Istanbul Atatürk/Yesilköy International (IST)) next summer.

Westair Bénin (WH, Cotonou Cadjehoun (COO)) has wet-leased B737-400 TC-TLC (MSN 25112) from Turkish charter and ACMI carrier Tailwind Airlines (TI, Istanbul Atatürk/Yesilköy International (IST)) to launch operations on December 10. The aircraft will stay with the West African start-up until May. Westair offers three weekly flights from Cotonou to Abidjan Felix Houphouet Boigny (ABJ), two weekly flights via Pointe Noire (PNR) to Brazzaville Maya Maya (BZV), via Pointe Noire to Kinshasa N'Djili International (FIH) and via Douala (DLA) to Libreville Leon M'Ba (LBV) as well as weekly services to Ouagadougou (OUA) and via Niamey Diori Hamani International (NIM) to Ouagadougou.

Tailwind Airlines (TI, Istanbul Atatürk/Yesilköy International (IST)) has wet-leased its B737-400 TC-TLA (MSN 25107) to Air Libya (7Q, Tripoli Mitiga (MJI)) allowing its Libyan partner to increase scheduled services. The two carriers had already worked together with Tailwind operating up to two B737-400s on behalf of Air Libya prior to the civil war in Libya.

Taban Air (HH, Mashad International (MHD)) has wet-leased B737-400 TC-TLC (MSN 25112) from Turkish charter carrier Tailwind Airlines (TI, Istanbul Atatürk/Yesilköy International (IST)). It currently operates a single MD-82 itself and wet-leases five MD-88s from Bukovyna Airlines (BQ, Chernovtsy (CWC)).

Okapi Airlines (OKP, Kinshasa N'Djili International (FIH)) has at least temporarily suspended operations again on January 6 after its single B737-400 wet-leased from Turkish charter carrier Tailwind Airlines (TI, Istanbul Atatürk/Yesilköy International (IST)) has been flown back to Turkey following disputes over unpaid lease fees. Okapi had only launched scheduled flights from Kinshasa N'Djili International (FIH) to Kisangani Bangoka International (FKI), Lubumbashi Luano International (FBM), Mbandaka (MDK) and Mbuji Mayi (MJM) on November 23, 2011.
