Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) plans to lease two ex-Orbest (Spain) (IP, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) A330-300s to increase its own flights to the Caribbean following the bankruptcy of Orbest and its tour operator parent Orizonia. Air Europa, itself owned by Spain's largest tourism group Globalia, will use the two aircraft to increase capacity on long-haul routes with a strong leisure focus from Madrid Barajas (MAD) to Cancún International (CUN), Havana José Marti International (HAV) and Punta Cana International (PUJ). After having already added another ex-Orbest A330-200, Air Europa will operate a total of 13 long-haul aircraft from this summer season, 11 A330-200s and the two A330-300s.

Transaero Airlines (UN, Moscow Domodedovo International (DME)) will take delivery of 12 new B737-800s between 2015 and 2016 as part of a lease deal with Russia's largest bank, Sberbank. Speaking in Washington, D.C. at the signing ceremony with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare International (ORD)), Sberbank CEO, Herman Gref, said that the Transaero deal was only the first step in a much larger plan which will ultimately see the purchase of 100 aircraft, mostly 737s, over the next ten years. Graf said the next order would likely to be for 30-50 aircraft with Sberbank currently holding talks with Russian airlines such as Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo International (SVO)) and "several others" regarding possible lease-deals. For its part, Boeing projects demand for "1,000 commercial aircraft in Russia over the next 20 years." Transaero currently already operates 11 second hand B737-800s and is about to add two more ex-Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) and Luxair (LG, Luxembourg Findel International (LUX)) aircraft shortly.

Privilege Style (P6, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) plans to lease a first B767-300(ER) later this year for ACMI and charter services. It already operates two B757-200s on such services and has a single ERJ-145 on a long-term wet-lease contract with Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)).

Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) has wet-leased B737-400 EC-LNC (MSN 24130) from Spanish charter carrier AlbaStar (JQ, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) until the end of March. It currently mainly uses the aircraft for its twice daily service linking Madrid Barajas (MAD) with Milan Malpensa (MXP). The short-term agreement has started on February 21 already.

Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) has taken over four domestic routes from Orbest (Spain) (IP, Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan (PMI)) that have been cancelled as a result of Orbest's financial troubles. It now operates weekly B737-800 services from Tenerife Sur (TFS) to Alicante (ALC), Vigo (VGO) and Zaragoza (ZAZ) and from Lanzarote Arrecife (ACE) to Zaragoza.
