VivaColombia (5Z, Medellín José Maria Córdova International (MDE)) is expecting to received its air operator certificate in early May allowing it to sell flights with the launch of operations currently expected to be on May 23. It plans to operate from Medellín José Maria Córdova International (MDE) to Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG), Bucaramanga Palonegro (BGA), Cali Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International (CLO), Cartagena de Indias Rafael Núñez International (CTG) and Santa Marta Simón Bolívar (SMR) initially according to press reports. VivaColombia will initially operate with a fleet of three A320-200s.
