Cimber Sterling (QI, Sønderborg) has resumed limited operations on May 5 using five CRJ-200s that it operates on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) on a wet-lease basis. It had previously operated a similar number of aircraft on behalf of SAS prior to suspending all operations and filing for bankruptcy. SAS and the administrator of Cimber Sterling have now agreed to a temporary wet-lease contract until May 17 until SAS can find a longer term solution for these regional flights from its Copenhagen Kastrup base.
