Lion Airlines (JT, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International (CGK)) has confirmed it has signed an agreement with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare International (ORD)) ordering five B787-8s for its new full service carrier Batik Air (ID, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International (CGK)). It will launch Batik Air next year and initially transfer 10 B737-800s to the new carrier.
