Avianca Colombia (AV, Bogotá El Nuevo Dorado International (BOG)) and TACA International Airlines (TA, San Salvador Cuscatlán International (SAL)) majority shareholder Synergy Aerospace has placed an order for six A330-200s and three A330-200(F) freighters with Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac (TLS)) at the Farnborough Air Show. It is not clear for which carrier the aircraft will operate although the A330-200 freighters will likely be leased to cargo subsidiary TAMPA Cargo (QT, Medellín José Maria Córdova International (MDE)).
