Thai Regional Airlines plans A320-200 domestic operations
Thai Regional Airlines (RW, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International (BKK)) has announced plans to lease four A320-200s to launch high frequency domestic operations from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi on December 12. It plans to offer nine daily round-trips to Chiang Mai International (CNX) and eight daily round-trips to Phuket International (HKT) initially with plans to operate daily international services to Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok International (HKG) and Seoul Incheon International (ICN) early next year with a fifth A320-200. It had so far only operated a single Piper PA-31 predominantly on charter flights and is now using the aircraft for five weekly services from Suvarnabhumi to Hua Hin (HHQ) with plans to launch a daily service from Hua Hin to Koh Samui (USM) in November.
