American Eagle Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) will retire its remaining 21 E135s by the end of 2013 as part of an agreement with Embraer (EMB, Sao Jose dos Campos) after a renegotiation of the lease agreements for the carrier's Embraer regional jet fleet. As part of the deal, American Eagle has also returned the 18 ERJ-135s currently in storage at Kingman to Embraer. It however plans to retain its 59 E140s and 118 E145s with lease periods extended to dates between 2017 and 2021 for the entire fleet.
