Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) as well as NCA - Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ, Tokyo Narita) have both deferred deliveries of B747-8(F) freighters originally scheduled for this year according to a report by Cargo Facts. Korean Air now plans to take delivery of just one instead of three B747-8(F) aircraft this year leaving another four aircraft to be delivered in 2014. One of NCA's B747-8 freighters (MSN 37394) has now been registered by Boeing (BOE, Washington National) and flown to Marana for temporary storage prior to delivery to the Japanese cargo carrier. Both Korean and NCA currently operate two of the aircraft already. NCA has a total of twelve additional B747-8(F)s on order.
