Sichuan Airlines (3U, Chengdu Shuangliu) took delivery of its first A330-300 (B-5923, c/n 1397) on March 29, the first of four aircraft due from Irish lessor Intrepid Aviation. The aircraft joins the Chinese carrier's exclusively Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) fleet including four A330-200s used on long-haul flights to Malé, Melbourne Tullamarine, Saipan and Vancouver International as well as domestic Chinese flights.
