CityJet (WX, Dublin International) is set to be sold following reports that owner, Air France-KLM, has reached a preliminary agreement with German airline-turnaround specialist, Intro Aviation GmbH. The Franco-Dutch company sees the sale as a means of curbing losses on its regional European operations, though the deal has still to undergo a due diligence. Cityjet reported a USD8.1million (EUR6.2million) operating loss for the nine months through December 2011 on revenues of EUR238million.
