ACG Air Cargo Germany (Frankfurt Hahn) could be thrown a lifeline following reports that unnamed American investors have expressed an interest in resuscitating the bankrupt cargo operator. Further to that is news that two out of the airline's four B747-400(F)s are undergoing maintenance at Frankfurt Hahn in the likely anticipation of resuming flights. The interested parties must now prove that they are financially able to continue business and will have to negotiate with the airline's current shareholders, which includes Russia's Volga-Dnepr Airlines (VI, Ulyanovsk Vostochny) (49%), to settle all outstanding issues and debts.
