Air Burundi (8Y, Bujumbura) will take delivery of its first of two MA-60s in May and plans to serve both domestic and international destinations when it resumes operations. It had suspended operations in September 2009 after its single remaining aircraft at the time, a Beech 1900D, had reached its maximum flying hours before a major maintenance check that could not be financed. The new aircraft are financed by Chinese investors.
