Iraqi Airways (IA, Baghdad) has taken delivery of the two ex-Blue Wings (Düsseldorf) A321-200s YI-AGR (c/n 4067) and YI-AGS (c/n 4044) originally delivered in 2009 and 2010. The aircraft had been stored for several years since then as Blue Wings went out of business before even putting the second aircraft into operations. Iraqi Airways also plans to lease a first A330-200 (c/n 1339) whose favourable delivery position later this year has become available as a result of an A330-300 cancellation by AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur International).
