Uni-top Airlines (Kunming Changshui) is in the process of setting up a domestic feeder operation to support its international operations Cargo Facts has reported. While no official announcement has yet been made, the publication says the new service will likely operate up to ten A300-600(F)s.
Uni-Top acquired six A300-600s from China Eastern Airlines (MU, Shanghai Hongqiao) last year with four - cn 741, 732, 725, and 746 - currently undergoing conversion in Dresden with EADS EFW. Along with three B747-200(F)s, Uni-Top also owns a B747-400(F) acquired from GrandStar Cargo International Airlines (Tianjin) following its takeover last year.
