25MAR2013: EgyptAir operating Al Arish-Jeddah charters for Palestinian Airlines
EgyptAir (MS, Cairo International (CAI)) has started operating pilgrimage charter flights on behalf of Palestinian Airlines (PF, Gaza Yaser Arafat International (GZA)) offering up to four times weekly between Al Arish International (AAC) and Jeddah King Abdul Aziz (JED). Al Arish is the closest airport in Egypt from the Gaza strip and Palestinian Airlines’ operating base. According to the African Aviation Tribune, flights operated by EgyptAir will operate until the end of August.

Palestinian Airlines (PF, Gaza Yaser Arafat International (GZA)) has resumed operations on May 9 with its two Fokker 50s SU-YAH (c/n 20123) and SU-YAI (c/n 20143) operating between Al Arish International (AAC) and Amman Queen Alia International (AMM) for the first time after a five year break. It has also announced plans to add Jeddah King Abdul Aziz (JED) as a second destination soon.
