Rostock Airways (Rostock) has delayed its planned scheduled services launch date until January, 13 2014. According to SVZ.de, the start-up has also altered its initial launch destinations to include just Frankfurt International and Munich with Copenhagen Kastrup now on due later in February. Zurich has also been added to the list of potential new destinations. Airline CEO Roland Ehrsam said the postponement had been caused by the delayed implementation of a central reservations system as well as difficulties encountered in securing the necessary traffic slots for Frankfurt International. Having operated limited charter flights to Spain until now, Rostock was originally slated to begin scheduled operations on October 27.
